The ground missions are typical of first person shooters such as Call of Duty or Fallout. You can play either ground missions or starfighter missions. GAMEPLAY (PART 1: OFFLINE): 4/10 The tutorials are a good place to start as they teach you the different styles of gameplay and the controls. Seriously, you could stare at these scenes for hours. Seriously, I wonder why the CGI in movies look so lousy when we have video games that look like this. GRAPHICS: 10/10The visuals in this game are absolutely stunning. It also comes with a screensaver that features C-3PO and R2-D2 arguing with each other. You can go through them in tutorials, mission mode, or survival mode. They are the battles of Hoth, Tatooine, Endor, and Sullust. You are literally replaying battles from the Original Trilogy, and one that wasn't seen, but alluded to, without the story.

So, I got it home, didn't have enough lines to hook up my PS4 to the internet, was too lazy to unplug my computer so I could enjoy online PS4 gameplay for awhile, so I just settled for the offline content for the time being. Fortunately, I bought the PS4 with the Disney Infinity 3.0 bundle, so I actually wound up paying the same but got a couple more games out of the deal (yes, that's how the math came out.I don't know what genius came up with that sales gimmick).

If you've played the game, you know full well where I'm going with this: the hour of tutorials, and only about an hour of actual games if you're playing offline, and then having to pay an additional $49.99 if you want the content that really rightly should have come with the initial sticker price (minus the Battle of Jakku, which we'll be getting free: what a surprise!), and then having to pay for the privilege of playing multi-player.īut.I've been reviewing games for awhile on other forums, and I wouldn't be much of a reviewer if I just complained about the most glaring issues without even getting into the game. It was merely a reference to the irrational, only partly meritorious hate that they receive. If you love the Star Wars m ovie, get it. the training mission with Darth Vader is also good but his phrases are limited and become very repetitive after a while. I did the training missions and the X-wig fighters are great. In a way it let me enjoy and be part of the movie. The graphics are excellent, the music is too. But since I love so much the movies and characters, I needed to give it a try. Nothing more frustrating than to start the game and in 5 second get kill by a 10 year old kid in his pajamas in another city.

As a kid I'm sure that watching that movie in the cinemas changed my life.I didn't have this game because everybody told me that it is a multiplayer only game and I'm not that good at playing. I like Star Wars, more accurate, I LOVE STAR WARS!!!. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-ownedįun game. This game really is tailored for the FPS players. Oh, and the requirement to have an ability not to die every 12 seconds by a 17-year-old online player who will snipe you the minute you spawn. The only other game option is online multiplayer, which requires PS Plus subscription. There are a handful of training missions, where the player can choose where to shoot and choose a weapon. Hiking through the snowy mountains of Hoth, or zipping through the redwood trees on a speeder bike, the amount of detail is breathtaking. Besides that, being able to step-into the worlds of SW is an incredible experience. It's obvious by now the major complaint is the lack of a story (aka campaign mode).
It, like most major titles, faced numerous delays and big cuts in production in order to get the game out. Star Wars Battlefront has been a long-awaited title for many fans and gamers alike. See (and shoot up) Star Wars like you never have before
